TEMPUS project – a librarian of SPU visited the Royal Music Academy Library in Stockholm

Due to the ” Tempus ” project, the head of the Library “Mira Pavlovic” Slobomir P University, Svjetlana Krsmanovic, visited the library of the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm in February. Together with five other librarians, employed at the Music Academy in Sarajevo, Belgrade, Novi Sad, Kragujevac and Mitrovica, and with the colleagues from Stockholm, our librarian had the opportunity to talk about the library and information sector, obvious correspondences and differences in the mode. They also discussedon perspectives and ideas for the improvement of this type of job. On the same occasion there were the visits to the Royal Library – music department within the Swedish National Library of Sweden as well as musical and theatrical library.

Ms. Krsmanovic assessed that their experiences, which they exchanged, knowledge and the acquaintance made on this occasion are of a great importance for the future development and operation of the library “Mira Pavlovic” Slobomir P University, and she said she hoped that similar visits would be organized in the future.
