Successfully organized seminar for teachers of music

The course “Harmonic accompaniment and harmonic development of hearing / Part II” was held as part of free seminars for teachers of music at the Academy of Art of Slobomir P University, within the TEMPUS project InMusWB on 24th November 2014.
Prof. Dr. Ivana Drobni and Mr. Tatjana Drobni gave a lecture of “Harmonic accompaniment and harmonic development of hearing – Part II”, which was aimed at training of educators for the design and successful implementation of the piano accompaniment in teaching solfeggio. They spoke on the interpretation of aspects of piano accompaniment from setting harmonic basis at the beginning of music education through high school. Elementary principles of reading from the paper were presented. The instructions that would lead to the development of reading skills and simultaneous singing and playing of musical texts were given, then developing improvisation skills of piano accompaniment while preserving the harmonic logic of the original text.
