Representatives of Slobomir P University, prof. Aleksandra Radosavljevic, the dean of the Academy of Arts, and the coordinator of Tempus project InMusWB Dragana Krstanovic, visited Brno, the Czech Republic, from 30th September to 3rd October 2014.
The aim of this study visit was to establish the cooperation and to meet with representatives of the Janacek Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (JAMA) in Brno, as one of the most elite academies in the field of musical art.
Representatives of SPU met up with the management of the Academy, their teachers, but also with gifted students, and prof. Radosavljevic held a master class for the most talented students.
Janacek Academy is one of two academies that exist in the Czech Republic. It was founded in 1947 and it was named after a prominent composer of modern European music – Leos Janacek.
The collaboration between these two institutions was established due to the Tempus project, which had been implemented at Slobomir P University since 2011. It is about “the introduction of interdisciplinary studies in music studies in the Western Balkans in accordance with the European perspective”.
