Lithuanian professors visited Slobomir P University

Professors from the Lithuanian Academy of Music visited Slobomir P University, within the Tempus project InMusWB, from 10th to 14th March 2014.They gave a series of lectures tothe students of the Academy of Arts and used the opportunity to exchange experiences with the lecturers of our Academy.
Professors from the Lithuanian Academy of Music, Vaclovas Augustinas – the professor of solfeggio, and Lolita Navickiene – the professor of music pedagogy, visited Slobomir P University within the Tempus project. The major purpose of the visit was to exchange experiences with the teachers and to be introduced to the methods and classes at our University.During a seven-day stay they had an opportunity to attend our teachers` lectures, to talk to them, to meet our students and to hold two interesting lectures. The subject of professor Augustinas speech was “Rhythmic training, sight reading, ear training!” while the teacher Navickienė`s subject was “Innovative methods of music education”.
This was also an opportunity to meet a student of Slobomir P University, who will have an opportunity to visit the Lithuanian Academy of Musicin the coming monthsas part of the aforementioned student exchange.
Lithuanian professors showedtheir satisfaction upon the visit to Slobomir P University, and they were glad to continue the cooperation in the coming years.
